Six Games left to win the PSL 2019 league

Which team has the easiest path to win the ABSA Premiership trophy

The ABSA PSL 2018-19 season is going to see a very exciting finish with 5 teams in a good position to win the league and all five teams still to play each other.

Unfortunately or fortunately for other teams, Sundowns have yet again been found guilty for fielding an ineligible player, Wayne Arendse. This means Sundowns will lose a point and Wits will gain 2 points, after Sundowns fielded Wayne Arendse who was not included in the match day squard and was later drafted in the starting line-up after an injury in the warm-ups of Thapelo Morena - Rule 16.3.2 of the NSL Handbook. Mamelodi Sundowns have it hard with Pitso also found guilty for punching an Amazulu official. Moreover, Sundowns have an African Champions League quarter-final against the most successful team in the competition, Al Ahly. The Egyptian football giants has won a record 8 CAF Champions League titles.

The PSL 2018-19 season is tough with a number of teams also competing to stay out of the relegation zone with six games left, Amazul has 26 points, Black Leopards has 25 points, Free State stars 24 points, Chipa and Baroka are tired on 21 points while Maritzburg United has a low 17 points.

At the top of the table, Wits have 43 points, Sundowns have 43, Pirates have 41 points, Cape Town City (CTC) have 40 points and Supersport have 39 points, after the Sundowns was found guilty.
